How we approach it

What you’re actually paying for.

You’re not paying for a clipboard and a logo. You’re paying for someone who has done this 800 times. The make-or-break step is diamond grinding. We don’t skip it.

PREP

Diamond grind

We diamond-grind the concrete to a CSP-2 profile. Skip this (or use acid etch) and the coating peels in 18 months. We don’t skip it.

FLAKE

Flake finish

Our most popular. Broadcast vinyl flakes between coats — texture, hides dirt, customizable color blend. Most homes go with a domino-tile mix.

POLY

Polyaspartic topcoat

UV-stable (won’t yellow), chemical-resistant, fast-curing. We coat in the morning and you can park on it that night. 15-year manufacturer warranty.

Our process, step by step.

  • 01 — Crack & pit repair. We V-cut and fill cracks with structural epoxy. Spalled areas get patched. The floor is flat and clean before we touch it with grinder.
  • 02 — Diamond grind. Walk-behind planetary grinder + edge grinder + vacuum. CSP-2 profile across the whole bay. Takes ~3 hours.
  • 03 — Basecoat + flake. Pigmented epoxy basecoat rolled on. Flakes broadcast immediately into wet coat. Cures 4–6 hours under fans.
  • 04 — Polyaspartic topcoat. Two-component clear poly squeegeed and back-rolled. Cures in 4 hours. You park on it 24 hours later, no problem.

What it costs.

  • Free quote. We come out and assess the slab. Moisture testing included.
  • Transparent pricing, told up front. Priced by square footage plus crack prep. You see the full number before we start.
  • 15-year warranty. On diamond-ground + flake + polyaspartic systems.

Common questions

Stuff people ask.

With diamond grind prep + flake + polyaspartic top, 12–15 years typical for residential use. We’ve got installs from 2014 still going strong.

You can. We’ve also redone a lot of DIY floors after the paint peeled. The big differentiators are the grind prep and the polyaspartic topcoat — hard to replicate at home.

Not if it’s a real polyaspartic-topped system on properly prepped concrete. Hot-tire pickup is the #1 issue with DIY kits — we engineer ours around it.

We moisture-test the slab before quoting. If your slab has high vapor emission, we use a moisture-tolerant primer first.
