Edge Garage Doors LLC ("Edge", "we", "us") operates edgegaragedoorstx.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site or request a quote, how we use it, and the choices you have. We are a garage door service company in Cedar Park, Texas, and we collect only what we need to answer your request and run our business.

Information we collect

Information you give us

When you fill out a quote or contact form we ask for your name, phone number, email address, your city or ZIP code, and a short description of what you need. When you call or text us, we keep your phone number and the notes from that conversation so we can schedule and complete the work.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we use analytics and advertising tools that set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser. These collect your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, how you interact with them (clicks, scrolling, form starts), the page that referred you to us, and campaign parameters in the link you arrived on (for example utm_source or an ad click ID). The tools we use are:

• Google Analytics 4 — traffic and behavior statistics.
• Microsoft Clarity — anonymized session recordings and heatmaps so we can see where the site is confusing. Clarity masks text you type into forms.
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel and Conversions API — measures whether our ads led to a quote request. When you submit a form, hashed contact details and the ad click ID may be sent to Meta so the ad platform can match the lead to the ad you clicked.
• ChatGPT Ads pixel (OpenAI) — measures quote requests that came from ChatGPT ads.
• Google Maps — address suggestions in the quote form and the service-area map.
• Google Fonts — typefaces, loaded from Google's servers.

How we use it

• To call, text, or email you back about your quote request and to schedule and complete the job.
• To send you the written estimate, invoice, and warranty information for your job.
• To measure which pages and ads bring us customers, and to improve the site.
• To show our ads to people who visited the site or requested a quote (retargeting), and to build audiences of similar people on Meta and Google. You can opt out — see "Your choices".
• To ask for a review after a completed job.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

• Jobber — our scheduling, quoting, and invoicing software. Your quote request is created there as a job request.
• Google Sheets / Google Workspace — where lead requests are logged and where we email from.
• Web3Forms — a form-delivery service that emails us a copy of your request as a backup.
• Cloudflare — hosts the site and processes form submissions on our behalf (including your IP address, for spam protection).
• Hearth — if you apply for financing through the link on our site, you deal directly with Hearth and its lenders under their own privacy policy. We do not receive your credit application.
• Meta, Google, Microsoft, OpenAI — advertising and analytics as described above.
• Law enforcement or courts when legally required, and professional advisers (accountant, attorney) under confidentiality.

Texting (SMS)

If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your quote, appointment, and job. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. We do not share your mobile number with third parties for their own marketing.

Your choices

• Cookies and tracking: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. To opt out of Google Analytics, use Google's browser add-on. Meta ad preferences are at facebook.com/adpreferences. Clarity opt-out: clarity.microsoft.com.
• Access, correction, deletion: email [email protected] or call (512) 626-3469 and we will show you what we hold about you, fix it, or delete it, unless we have to keep it for tax, warranty, or legal reasons.
• Marketing: tell us once and we will not contact you for anything other than an active job.

Data retention

Quote requests that do not become jobs are kept for up to 24 months so we can follow up if you come back. Job, invoice, and warranty records are kept for as long as the warranty runs plus the period required by tax law (generally 7 years).

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions go to our systems over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The site is for adults arranging garage door work. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this page.
